Dr. Yazdani is Censor in chief of Australasian College of Phlebology. She is responsible for the direction of education policy of the college and maintenance of medical education, examinations, and other assessment standards, she is the college examiner of basic, advanced, and fellowship trainees exit exam. She has been a qualified medical practitioner for more than 21 years, also known as Dr. Nellie among her patients. At the XVIII World Congress of Phlebology (UIP) Dr. Yazdani was the recipient of the Australasian College of Phlebology (ACP) 2016 President's Gold Medal in Sclerotherapy. Dr. Yazdani joined the Australasian College of Phlebology (ACP) specialist training program to learn venous diseases in a more academic and practical depth and learned the most advanced treatment techniques for varicose veins and lymphatic diseases. She achieved her fellowship in Phlebology and is one of the very few female Phlebologists in Australia and New Zealand.
She is an active member of the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Agency (AHPRA) and also the Australasian College of Phlebology (ACP) which is the training and credentialing body of Australasia. The ACP is the main training provider in the treatment of venous diseases in Australia and New Zealand.The ACP holds annual scientific meetings which has been known as one of the best Phlebology conferences in the world. Dr. Yazdani regularly attends and also gives presentations at scientific meetings and workshops held by the ACP. She also regularly attends and gives presentations at the UIP (International Union of Phlebology) conferences. Dr.Yazdani is an ACP board member and also a UIP (International Union of Phlebology) Engagement Committee Working Group Consultant.
In addition to formal training through the Australasian College of Phlebology, Dr. Yazdani has been trained by the world's most well-known Phlebologists, Vascular Surgeons, Dermatologists, Interventional Radiologist, Plastic Surgeons, Geneticists, and Lymphatic Specialists in Australia and abroad. She decided to expand her knowledge and skills by achieving a Certificate of Advanced Ultrasound in Phlebology.
